The 'Living Foods' programme, also known as the Hippocrates Diet and Health  Program, was pioneered by Dr Ann Wigmore.   The principle underpinning her programme recognises the need for a balance  between food enzymes and our metabolic and digestive enzymes. Rawvegetables and fruits, sprouted seeds and grains, soaked nuts and fermented foods contain the vital food enzymes which start digestion. Our digestive enzymes continue the digestion process.

Cooking destroys food enzymes. When eating cooked food, our body has to  draw out vast quantities of metabolic enzymes of which we have a limited  supply at birth in order to complete digestion. During the talk, I will give an overview of the acid/alkaline balance and  discuss the transition to a 'Living Foods' diet.

You will go home with some delicious raw recipes to tempt the whole
family

Hi Jackie - many thanks for putting our details on your great Forum site!

Just to confirm, if a reflexologist joins us, meetings are FREE! Members can bring guests to a meeting who then pay a small fee to attend.

The talk by Margaret was brilliant. We wanted it to be a two way discussion and this is exactly how it turned out. Very good comments and information flowing around the room - what karma!

That's it for now but watch this space for more Norfolk Group info

happy days,
Teresa X
